COCO x Thomas Payne

This year we took a contemporary approach to Valentine's Day. We wanted to create a chocolate gift that moved away from the conventional colours and patterns that take over the month of February, but still maintain a relevance to the theme of love. 

We collaborated with British sign writer Thomas Payne - also known as Thomas Paints. Based in Longniddry, East Lothian, Thomas is a talented designer, maker and painter who has worked across the United Kingdom. 

"Being a sign-writer, I use the finest gold leaf to mirror glass and apply to shopfronts. It denotes quality. Applying gold foil on this collaboration with COCO was the natural choice. In turn, simple visuals to convey a message is as important as the chosen finish. Love is simple”.
